What kind of leaders join Leading with Integrity?
A diverse community of leaders who care about their teams
You could be a new leader, or an experienced manager. You might be a business founder who’s hiring a team for the first time, or you’ve been promoted to lead former colleagues.
If you care about your team members, and want to learn how to become their leader rather than their boss, you will fit right in.
Do these challenges sound familiar?
When things are going well, being a leader is the most rewarding job in the world. It can also be lonely, difficult and stressful.
Leading with Integrity is a diverse community of leaders and managers. No matter their level of experience, they share similar challenges.
Here are some of the most common. Does any of this sound familiar?
● I feel isolated. I can’t speak to my team or my boss.
● I don’t feel up to the job.
● I’m managing former colleagues, and they may not take me seriously as their leader.
● I was a specialist, but now have to lead others doing it instead. Am I micromanaging?
● Employees are unhappy and they’re starting to leave.
● My boss makes it difficult for me to look after my team.
● I dread going to work.

You’re not alone, and help is on its way.
How does Leading with Integrity help?
My name is David Hatch. I founded Leading with Integrity to provide support and guidance for new leaders who have been chucked in at the deep end with no training in how to swim.
No matter your level of expertise, imposter syndrome lurks in the shadows ready to sap your confidence.
This is a refreshing, empathetic online space where you can share experiences, access practical resources and learn from the world’s most inspiring leaders.
It helps you feel less overwhelmed and more confident. It’s about helping you become a more inspiring, authentic leader.
Practical knowledge for leaders
Besides being a community of your peers, Leading with Integrity is a knowledge resource.
It offers a wealth of useful stuff — leadership courses, interactive events, Q&A sessions, workshops, leadership podcasts and one-to-one personal mentoring.
These resources are your guide to positive, ethical leadership. You’ll find new ways to think about your role, tips for defining your own leadership values, and ideas to try out with your team.
It’s not a list of instructions. There are no set rules for good leadership, no one-size answer. Ultimately, this knowledge resource will help you find your own way to lead.

If there’s something in particular you’d like to learn about, just ask. I’m happy to set up sessions about any leadership subject.
How do members engage with each other and collaborate?
The user directory has a short intro by all the members (you’ll be asked to fill this in too, during onboarding). You can see who’s joined the community, what they do, and their leadership priorities.
You can chat with other members confidentially via direct messages, or publicly via the leadership chat thread. You can also talk to members during the live online events or drop-in virtual rooms.
How is information shared within the group? Is it confidential?
Direct messages are confidential. No one else will have access to your conversation. The leadership chat thread is open to all members.
As part of the terms of membership, we expect all contributions and conversations to be treated with confidentiality – this is crucial when some of the subjects for discussion can involved sensitive information.
What kind of leaders are part of the group?
It’s a diverse assortment of leaders. There are first-time leaders and experienced managers, business founders and entrepreneurs from a variety of industry sectors. Everyone is new to leadership in some form, whether a first time founder, brand new manager, or a recently promoted, more senior leader. The common cause is: people first, community, and learning.
How easy is it to access one-to-one leadership mentoring sessions?
Pretty easy! Once you access the membership area, you can just click on ‘Call with David’ on the left-hand main menu. It takes you straight to my diary so you can book in a mentoring session.
How much does it cost? And, will I need to pay extra for the one-to-one sessions?
Membership costs £39 per month.
Ad hoc, one-to-one leadership mentoring is free. It’s included as part of your membership — although bear in mind that if you’d like a series of regular sessions, I may have to charge for these. I’m happy to discuss an affordable option.
What happens if the community doesn’t meet my expectations? How easy is it to leave?
You’re not tied in. It’s a monthly rolling membership and if you want to leave the community, you can do so at any time.
